Happy Thanksgiving!

This morning I had awesome natural lighting (Thanks God!), and 2 kids in really good moods (one not so much), so I had to take some photos. And they turned out really good! The black and white ones I played with on photobucket and I like how they turned out.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last night Adam and the girls were baking brownies while I was at work. They were having a good time, and Adelle said to Adam, "Daddy, you said you're never home when we do fun stuff, but you're home right now, and I think this is pretty fun!" What a sweetheart!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Right now I am going on my 3rd hour at a local coffee shop, and loving every minute of it! Mom and Dad have the girlies for the evening, and I get a night off! Tomorrow Adam and I will head over there for turkey, football (for the guys), major ad browsing (for the ladies), and probably a few rounds of Sevens (a card game that we all love). Good Times!! Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and happy bargain hunting on Friday!

Like the New Look?

How do you like my new look? I was getting bored with my old background and header, so I just spent, well, way too long :) changing it. Good thing I'm doing this at work so I'm at least getting paid for my time. Shh...don't tell! Okay, so I have some pictures to post today, if my computer wants to cooperate. Let's see!
Adelle enjoying the first big snow.

I just think this pic is too cute. She has her daddy's eyes! Hey y'know what, I just realized that this looks like a picture MckMama would take! I must be getting better!

Natalie wearing her first pair of stick-on earrings (they lasted all of 5 minutes!)
Abbie and her "free" hair. I wish I was brave enough to leave it like this some days. We'll stick with yarn braids!

Why Can't I think of a Clever Title?

Overheard from the backseat last night...
Abbie: "When all of my teeth fall out, I'll probably have to talk with my hands."
Adelle: "Why would you do that? You can still hear!"
My kids crack me up! Abbie is very close to losing her 4th tooth, and I guess she's a little concerned about it :) And Adelle is concerned about NOT losing teeth yet! You always want want you don't have, I guess!

I have pictures to post, but my computer is being really slow, so I'll try again later. Sorry, I know you're all dying to see my gorgeous girls again!

Pictures of the Girls

Wow, it seems like forever since I have had a chance to sit down and write a post on here. Ever since I got back from Kenya it seems like time has just flown by. Right now we are a one vehicle family, so when Adam goes to work, the girls and I are stuck at home. I guess it's really not as bad as it seems...I have lost 10 pounds since we're not able to go to McDonalds very often :) We're also saving money! I have a few random pics of my girls that I want to post on here. I feel like they have been left out (too many Kenya pictures to share!!!) So here they are!

Adelle doing the "Bug Dance" at church

Abbie being sassy

Natalie (she has a bad habit of eating crayons!)
My adorable nephew Isaac
Last Friday Grandma Darlene came over and helped the girls make fudge. They had so much fun! It's great having Grandma and Pop Pop close by. The girls are learning a lot from them!
Finally, I want to ask everyone to pray for Miss Natalie. She has an appointment with a foot specialist next Monday (the 24th) because her left foot turns in when she walks. I had mentioned it to her doctor at her 18 month checkup, and she said we would wait until her 2 yr appt to do anything about it. Well, she had that appt last week, and the foot is not any better (in fact, it's a little worse :( ) So now, we see this doctor and find out what he recommends. I'm still praying that it is something she will outgrow. Thanks!!

Safari

Here are my pictures from our Kenya safari adventures. Before you even ask...yes, we really were that close to the animals. It was amazing! The little monkeys were really fun, but kind of scary :) (see Jamie, I admitted it!) They were very bold, and 2 of our team members had monkeys right in their rooms!

Kenya!!!!!

Hi everybody!!! Did you all miss me? I have to say, I really missed blogging and keeping up on all of the blogs I read. But Kenya was amazing! Those precious babies mean soooo much more to me now that I have held them and kissed them and really got to know them. It was heart wrenching to leave them when we left. But they are happy and well taken care of at the baby center. It is an amazing work that is going on there. The cargivers love those children like they are their own. If you want to read about the trip in general, please check out nmcandthebabycenter.blogspot.com. We have posted each day's events on there. It's really pretty good :) So here's what you've all been waiting for............Pictures!!!!!

Out of time for today. I'll post safari pics tomorrow :) See ya!!!!!
The ramblings of a stay at home mom who has way too much time on her hands. Although my house could use a good cleaning...nah, this is more fun!!
